Public enterprise Road and transport research institute (hereinafter – the Enterprise) is a public non-profit seeking legal entity of limited civil liability the objective of which is to satisfy the public interests by implementing functions necessary for the planning and design of road building, construction, reconstruction, repair and maintenance works and their quality assessment.
The Enterprise’s founder and sole shareholder (owner) is a state.

Our mission is to carry out activities which would contribute to the improvement of the condition of road infrastructure.

Our vision is: funds allocated to the development of road infrastructure shall be used in accordance with the cost – benefit analysis method. Decisions on the construction, reconstruction, repair and maintenance works of the roads of national significance shall be made in accordance with the objective data of road condition and traffic investigations.

With offices in Wiesbaden and Dessau, Germany and international representations in Bucharest, Romania, Budapest, Hungary and Ankara, Turkey Railistics is a professional consulting firm providing a wide range of services related to transport policy, transport economies, intermodal transport, railway vehicles, infrastructure and operations. Railistics’ team has worked together for many years. Their competencies include expertise in the legal framework, the transport market, business planning, engineering and reconstruction, licensing, technical and financial evaluation of rail transport, railway operation, rolling stock and railway infrastructure

Sofia Urban Mobility Centre EAD is a municipal company responsible for:

• Organisation, management, supervision and financing of the public transport in Sofia as an integrated process.
• Monitoring of the proper implementation of the Public Service Contracts between Sofia municipality and the transport operators.
• Operation of information management system for monitoring and supervision of the traffic, based on GPS identification.
