The European Transport Research Alliance – ETRA is a partnership Organisation created, on September 20th 2012, by five Transport Research Associations: ECTRI (European Conference of Transport Research Institutes), EURNEX (the European rail Research Network of Excellence), FEHRL (Forum of European National Highway Research Laboratories), FERSI (Forum of European Road Safety Institutes), and HUMANIST (the Human centered design Network for Information Society Technologies).

Its strategic objective is, to: “work towards promoting further cooperation, coordination of activities, and common focus in European transport research provision, as part of the process and in full alignment with the objectives of creating the European Research Area  in the field of Transport”.    

gasfill have developed an affordable personal refuelling appliance for cars and vans that use CNG (compressed natural gas) as a fuel. The appliance is aimed at the home and commercial markets and is the 'natural gas equivalent of an electric charging post'. The unit uses natural gas from the normal gas supply to a property and uses a domestic electricity supply for power. The use of CNG leads to lower fuel costs (typically up to 60%), a lower CO2 footprint (20% saving) and cleaner vehicle emissions (low NOx and no particulates). Within the EU there are currently 1.5 million vehicles using CNG with CNG cars and vans being offered by the major manufacturers (VW, Fiat etc). At the moment the users of CNG have to wait until a public access fast fill station is built in their area but these are expensive, hence rollout is relatively slow and limits the growth of the CNG market. gasfill's unit avoids this issue and provides a way of acelerating market growth. gasfill are now seeking partners/investors who can help to ramp up the commercialistion of their product.

The 3 stage oil free compressor in the unit has been developed by gasfill, is patented and can be used for other gases. gasfill are also looking to license their compressor technology for use with gases other than methane

We build a full length tube between any 2 points and inside that tube we control the environment. We lower pressure inside the tube up to 1 hPa (1 mBar), that allows us to travel very quickly with very low energy and very little air resistance.

That also offers advantage of being weather proof.

Hyperloop is very safe, very cost efficient and very energy efficient and of course it’s carbon free.

We are also looking at moving cargo, this is going to offer us a possibility to get truck off the roads and get people thing that they want much faster.
