Sofia Urban Mobility Centre EAD is a municipal company responsible for:

• Organisation, management, supervision and financing of the public transport in Sofia as an integrated process.
• Monitoring of the proper implementation of the Public Service Contracts between Sofia municipality and the transport operators.
• Operation of information management system for monitoring and supervision of the traffic, based on GPS identification.
• Implementation and operation of Intelligent Transport Systems for public transport.
• Issuing of transportation documents and collection of the transport revenues.
• Operation of unified Automated Fare Collection System (ticketing system).
• Finance, construction, operation and maintenance of parkings, garages and open-space parking spaces in Sofia - owned by Sofia Municipality.
• Advertising and information services in the public transport.
• Development of plans and analyses for urban mobility management.
