Public enterprise Road and transport research institute (hereinafter – the Enterprise) is a public non-profit seeking legal entity of limited civil liability the objective of which is to satisfy the public interests by implementing functions necessary for the planning and design of road building, construction, reconstruction, repair and maintenance works and their quality assessment.
The Enterprise’s founder and sole shareholder (owner) is a state.
Our mission is to carry out activities which would contribute to the improvement of the condition of road infrastructure.
Our vision is: funds allocated to the development of road infrastructure shall be used in accordance with the cost – benefit analysis method. Decisions on the construction, reconstruction, repair and maintenance works of the roads of national significance shall be made in accordance with the objective data of road condition and traffic investigations.
